for the City of Sheboygan
The Wisconsin Dept. of Corrections sex registry was established in June 1997 due to the enactment of Wisconsin Act 440 - Wisconsin Statutes 301.45 and 301.46. This law requires registration of individuals who have been convicted of certain sexual offenses.
In accordance with State Statute 301.46(2m), the Sheboygan Police Dept. is releasing the information below. The subjects listed have been convicted of a sex offense crime. The following list of sex offenders is not all-inclusive, and not intended to be. Rather, authorities have determined the community needs to be informed about these offenders because of their likelihood to re-offend.
These sex offenders have already served their sentences, deemed appropriate by the court system. THEY ARE NOT CURRENTLY WANTED BY THE POLICE. It is not the purpose of this notification to alarm the citizens of Sheboygan. It is intended to keep everyone informed in the interest of your safety.
It is not the intent that this information be used to injure, harass, or commit a criminal act against persons named in the registry, their families, or employers. Anyone who takes any criminal action against these registrants, including vandalism or property, verbal or written threats of harm, or physical assault against the registrants, their families or employers is subject to criminal prosecution.
